Like everything else in CoolApp, your profile is end-to-end encrypted. The CoolApp service does not have any knowledge of the name you have chosen or the image you have set. Read more technical information in the blog post.
What is my CoolApp Profile?Your CoolApp Profile is a name, picture, and about that may be shown alongside your existing phone number, depending on your settings.
The profile name doesn’t have to be unique, unlike a username, and the person you’re interacting with can also change how they see your name for their view of your chat.
How do I edit my profile?
- Open CoolApp on your phone > go to CoolApp Settings
. - Tap your avatar, name, or CoolApp number.
- Tap the avatar or
camera icon to edit. - Tap the
name fields to edit. First names are required. Feel free to choose a nickname, a CoolApp character, or an emoji. - Tap
About to select an emoji and to write a few words about yourself.
- For iOS, select Done to go back to your profile screen and preview the profile.
- Tap Save if shown.
How can I change how I see someone’s name?
If you do not want to see someone’s CoolApp profile name, set a nickname for this chat.
