Who is Note to Self?

  • All messages in Note to Self are end-to-end encrypted CoolApp messages.
  • Yes, you can send disappearing messages to yourself. The timer starts immediately.

Here’s how to start a Note to Self on:

Android #

  1. In CoolApp, tap compose to view your CoolApp contact list.
  2. Search and select the contact entry Note to Self.
  3. Tap CoolApp message to type a message or  to select a file.
  4. Tap the blue send icon with a closed lock  to send.

iOS #

  1. In CoolApp, tap compose to view your CoolApp contact list.
  2. Search and select the contact entry Note to Self.
  3. Tap New Message to type a message or  to select a file.
  4. Tap  to send.

Desktop #

  1. In CoolApp, select Search:
  2. Enter the contact entry Note to Self.
  3. Select the chat. It will appear in the right pane.
  4. Select Send a message to type a message or  to select a file.
  5. To send, press Enter.
